Here at advansys we are proud to call ourselves ecommerce design experts. To maintain this status we constantly research new technology and software. One new web development that's increasingly being used throughout the web is software called Silverlight from Microsoft.

So what is Silverlight?

Silverlight is software developed to help graphic designers and web developers create rich internet applications and experiences across different browsers, platforms and devices. In order for Silverlight applications to work it requires a free download installed on all computers, very much like that of flash.

Silverlight at first seems very similar to that of adobe flash applications, however with its use of .net, enhances to online video and SEO potential, its likely that Silverlight will dominate interactive web experiences in upcoming years.

Over the next few months advansys ecommerce design experts will learn and research more about Silverlight in order to implement it into our future ecommerce website design, brochure websites and website redesign.
