Advansys’ latest ecommerce website has just gone live!

Discount Art, premier retailers of all manner of Art and craft supplies approached us with a brief to create an ecommerce solution that took advantage of our skinnable system, allowing them to market products from a single Content Management System (CMS)  via both their parent Discount Art site and their Discount Graphic daughter site. While both skins operate from the same product catalogue, order management and content management system the products are assigned to each skin separately allowing for a very flexible and easy to use system.

This project was not without its share of bespoke development, with Discount Art requesting that the system was capable of managing the Supplier Orders straight from the stock levels held in the CMS. This system not only reviews the stock levels and adds products to supplier orders automatically; it allows for pre order adjustments to be made, generates the order PDF and will even send the order via email without leaving the CMS. Naturally there is a Goods In section of the module that has the capability to be used with a handheld barcode scanner.

We’re very proud of the new site and we look forward to working with Discount Art in the future as they extend their internet marketing and their ecommerce empire.
