Texture - Adding some texture can make the design more dynamic. For example a wood grain could be used for a health product, or a builder could have a scratched and rough stone effect.

Dimension - Adding shadows and shading can bring your design to a new dimension. 3D angles, and effective shading can give a highly modern feel and bring the design into the web 2.0 generation.
