Traditional approaches to project management have tended to focus on ‘command and control’ methods where a detailed, complex and fixed plan is created at the outset of the project. These methods do not suit software development projects where there is a need for rapid iterative planning and development cycles. APM (Agile Project Management) is a highly iterative and incremental process where the Account Manager works in collaboration with the customer to understand the domain, indentify what needs to be delivered and prioritise tasks and functionality accordingly.

Advansys follow APM methodologies where we do not wait for a testing phase to realise whether our website design works or the ecommerce build phase meets the business requirements. In contrast, we constantly work in conjunction with the customer to gain valuable feedback at all stages during the software development project which results in an incremental approach to delivery.

As soon as the project starts (whether it is a brochure website, ecommerce solution, ecommerce project or a bespoke software development project) you are assigned your own Account Manager who will organise, manage and prioritise all resources to make sure the project is successfully delivered based on your business requirements. Due to the fact that our approach is based on the principles of human interaction management your Account Manager will constantly be in contact and by making sure that testing is carried out at all stages during the project and we always know that we are on track to deliver a successful project.
