who is the client?

First light are a privately owned company which was created by a husband and wife couple in 2009 and are looking to provide a brand new range of 100% mineral cosmetics to the UK market for women of all ages.

what is the project brief?

First Light Cosmetics came to Advansys to provide them with a brand new website and platform for them to launch their new brand of cosmetics to the UK market. The design needed to be able to showcase their products so that users can view them quickly and simply, they also wanted to be able to reward any returning customers.

project evolution

The design team provided First Light with a trendy and fashionable website that allowed them to showcase their products and the display the various colour ranges all on one page, the account management team worked closely with First Light to ensure that their ideas and contributions were added to the ecommerce website.
The solution was designed using soft mineral colours to help keep a balance with the blue that was used as a contract to the yellow that is on the website, the overall soft design of the website helps the website to be easy on the eye whilst enhancing the images that are on the page.

our final solution

Advansys provided First Light Cosmetics with the ecommerce solution that they were looking for to launch their new brand. The solution was provided using bespoke web development such as the tell a friend module which will help First Light customers to notify friends and family of their products and thus build up the brand.
The navigation of the website was built with simplicity and space saving in mind and this was achieved by using the top menu coupled with nice slick looking drop down menus. As with all our solutions this website was built with SEO in mind to give First Light Cosmetics every chance of promoting their website and products.
